Become an Orchestra Director
Have you ever been to a concert and been curious about conducting an orchestra? How could they understand what they are supposed to do just by following a baton? The conductor with each movement communicates with the group. This course will introduce you to the world of driving and how and why it is used.
This course of only 5 sessions, and a total of 15 hours, you will learn from the hands of professionals of usa school, the basic patterns, and the necessary techniques to carry it out. It is a very practical course where you will really feel and experience how to conduct an orchestra and through this practice you will learn the different conducting styles and how to do it. Students who complete the course will receive a certificate indicating this.
Program
DAY 1
9:00-10:00: Introduction through example videos and explanation of basic knowledge and technicalities
10:00-11:00: Orchestra conducting techniques and handling of the baton
11:00-12:00: Practice and review
DAY 2
9:00-10:00: Musical tenses applied to conducting.
10:00-12:00: Practice Conduct your orchestra
DAY 3
9:00-10:00: The speed of the tempo in a musical direction.
10:00-11:00: Leading Styles
11:00-12:00: repair and direction of a two-beat song and revision
DAY 4
9:00-10:00: How to use the left hand in conducting an orchestra
10:00-11:00: Sheet music reading at a concert or band.
11:00-12:00 - Practice Lead songs with 3/4 and 4/4 tempo
DAY 5
9:00-11:00 Fermata Friday!!( Three types of frematas)
11:00-11:45: direct your songs
11:45-12:00: Delivery of diplomas
After the completion of this workshop you will take your own batons home as a souvenir!

Initial course to the direction of orchestra. No prior knowledge of music or playing instruments is required.
